Silencing Joy 99 cents on Amazon!

"Rachiele has a very personal and personable writing style. She tells a vividly raw and shockingly real story that you can’t help but get caught up in. This story is very emotionally charged. It’s cool & disturbing all at the same time. Her descriptions, as well as her storytelling, are understated yet won’t let you go. The story itself had me captivated. It’s vivid without being over the top.

Rachiele flips perspective between a variety of characters. With some you’re vey engaged and caught up in the tale. With others, it’s like you’re standing on the sidelines. This adds an extra layer of complexity to the tale. You get to know all of the characters in the story without leaving anyone in the dust.

Overall, this story was exhilarating, thought provoking, & thoroughly enjoyable. I didn’t ever want it to end." ~ Jonel, Canada

5 stars for Mobster's Girl from Lazaro

New! Lazaro reviewed Mobster's Girl

Captivating on a whole other level! June 20, 2014
“Mobsters Girl” by Author Amy Rachiele is an astounding read that had me glued to my reading device for two nights on end. Main Character Antonio is absolutely described to perfection with a stunning and deep POV that has you glued the entire time. This is truly not your typical YA Romance that is ordinary and bland, but rather thrilling and entertaining beyond words. What made this a unique and original story for me is that Antono’s dad is the head of a Mob family in New Jersey. This in itself entails him getting involved in the family business. From one aspect Antonio is portrayed as a loving guy willing to do almost anything for Megan, while on the other hand he has to fully immerse himself into the world of the Mob where hitting and getting what you want (the rough way) is just a part of every day life.

The way Author Amy Rachiele places you in the center of all the action is simply brilliant. Words to describe this book are: Thought Provoking, Captivating, Original, Fun, and Intense in a well-written manner that will engulf the mind and imagination well after you are done reading. A Must Read for all and 5 Stars!

Vampire's Need by Amy Rachiele

What is so fascinating about Vampires?

Dark beauty

Night Dwelling.

The ideology surrounding vampires has existed for hundreds of years.  The thread of the vampire continues to captivate readers.  From Stoker to Rice to Meyer, the existence of vampires continues to find its way into stories, novels, and movies.

Vampire's Need is a cross genre novel that twists romance, action/adventure, and vampires into a historical piece.  It is told in alternate first-person point of view by the main characters, Sybrina and Elijah.  The entire story takes place on a clipper ship in 1866.  The culminating question the book poses is without change and the stages of life, would existence be bland and not worth living?

I envision Sybrina as savvy, strong-willed, and smart—a contemporary for the era.  Elijah, the vampire hero, encompasses the contemplative immortal, struggling to let go of his past and find his way in a world he cannot leave.  The antagonist, Vadim, is a vampire that is suffering from a malady of the mind that comes from the long years that immortality offers.

I anticipate this to be the first book in a series that will touch on other elements in vampire mythology.  Researching the extensive lore of the vampire uncovered an unbelievable amount of superstitions and tales.   Through Vampire's Need, I am weaving them together into a story of my own, piecing together the shards of history that compile the timeless legends of the vampire.
“May I kiss you, Miss Sybrina?”
Darkening irises show me the fire that burns under her skin.  She wants me, just as much as I want her.  Her entire body stiffens except her head, which nods very subtly yes.  I reach out my arm to caress her around the waist, hauling her close to me.  I stare into her eyes that are distinctly thirsty with need, using my hand to tip her head up and lean down, pressing my lips to hers.  My need is triumphant, reveling in the sensation, kicking away the blandness that tortures my spirit and replaced by sweet berries in springtime.   A flood of core memories stabs at the vibrancy awakened in me.  The touching and kissing become ravenous, stronger than bloodlust. Sybrina is wild with passion... for me.  My hold tightens and my hands roam, wanting more.  It is a feverish awareness that in all my long years I have never experienced.
An alarm whirrs in the deep recess of my mind.  Sybrina is fighting against me.  The cloud of passion pops like a boil.  Audible now is her struggle to be free of me.

Another winner from Laurann Dohner! Darkness: New Species

Page-turning bliss!  I have loved every single NS book.  Laurann Dohner has taken paranormal and claimed it for her own by creating New Species.  Its a world that exposes human flaws but also the best in humans.  The underlying tones of the viciousness of bigotry and finding love in the least likely places set the scene for the series.
Darkness, a New Species feline, is a mix of alpha-male and brooding hero.  He is blocked from moving forward with his life because of regret and survivor's guilt.  He meets Kat and things change for him.
I recommend this series because it is different and refreshing. Laurann Dohner leaves a few open ended goodies for readers to look forward to in the next book.  I can't wait!

Abby stood nervously before her Master in the classic submissive pose: fully nude, legs apart, wrists placed behind her back; deeply ashamed of her evident arousal. Worse, she had to recount in exact detail the proceedings of her last whipping. The whipping had been severe; as was the case with most of the clients she was commissioned to serve. Most of these clients were men, some were women, on occasion a couple, or even a group. Nevertheless her body reacted like that of a wanton whore as she retold of the sadistic punishments and extreme sexual use inflicted upon her body.
How far would her Master push her with these ‘tests’? How far would Abigail go? How many times could she stand before him blushing; yet with that unmistakable tingle? Their relationship was surely headed for a collision course. Or was it?

This story contains STRONG BDSM. While fully consensual, it includes submission, dominance, sadism and masochism. Please do NOT buy or read this if you are offended by graphic sexual descriptions including sexual violence. All characters are aged 25+, and it is recommended for an adult audience ONLY (aged 21+). This story is pure fiction and the author does not condone any violent behavior.

Author Bio:
By day I work in Marketing, which involves a fair amount of writing. Therefore, I never really had an interest to write for pleasure. When you do it all day, the last thing you want to do when you get home, is more writing. All the while, as my career progressed, so did my involvement in the BDSM lifestyle.

This interest in kinky sex started in my University years. Like most men, I loved meeting women, and especially the occasional one who didn't mind being tied up, or blindfolded, or spanked. All sex was great, but kinky sex was more exciting, more exhilarating, and more fulfilling.

Over the years I was lucky enough to meet my fair share of submissive women. And don't for a minute think these women were weak. Outside the bedroom they were confident, opinionated, gregarious and self-assured. However, inside the bedroom (so to speak) they wanted to feel the strong firm hand of a dominant man taking complete control.

Eventually I found the perfect partner, and am happily in a relationship.

One day, I flipped my laptop open, and to my surprise - I had an urge to write a BDSM story. Soon I had 20 pages, then 40, then 60. The novel that resulted is pure fiction and more extreme than anything I'd subject a submissive to in real life. As many reviewers have said it's not for the faint of heart. That said, the reviews have been spectacular. This enthusiastic response fueled me to begin a second book. The next one will be written from the point-of-view of both the Dom and the sub, chapter by chapter.

If you decide to read my book, or any of my future efforts, I truly hope you enjoy it.

Yours truly, Al

The Servant by Robert Gonko

The Servant

Private detective Steve Bennett has a world of trouble on his hands. A violent sex-trafficker wants him dead, a police captain is determined to send him to prison, his family thinks he's gone off the deep end, and one of his closest friends has been murdered--all in one morning!
The murder of his friend trumps all other concerns and soon Steve is on the trail of a murderous psychopath who calls himself 'The Servant of the Lord.' His victims are the leaders of a movement to legalize same-sex marriage. The Servant strikes without warning, leaving bloody messages of biblical vengeance with each of his victims.
After murdering nine people in the space of a few hours, The Servant is just getting warmed up. What will he do next? How can Steve Bennett stop him?

Bio: Robert Gonko
Robert became a fan of thrillers as a teenager when he discovered Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt series. These works, and others, inspired him to start writing his own books and a life-long dream was born. He first created his central characters Steve Bennett and Amanda Clark in college, though it would be many years before he hit on the right stories for them.
In his early forties he conceived the Port Mason series, stories set in and featuring a fictional city 'somewhere in America' that he describes as inspired by St. Louis and Portland (Oregon) with a strong dose of Chicago-style politics and corruption to keep things interesting.
His first Port Mason story, The Inheritance, was originally released in 2013. An updated and re-written edition was released later that year. Book two in the series, The Servant, was released in 2014. He is currently working on the third installment, "Sniper", and has plans for five additional novels in the series.
Robert was born and raised in Illinois, where he lives with his wife, Angela, and their children, Josie and Jimmy.
